So you want some decent Italian, but don't want to spend too much money and Olive Garden and Romano's Macaroni are definitely on the NO-GO list. Maria's Kitchen in Northridge is a good choice. Not fancy, but very filling and we had zero complaints. The chopped salad was okay. Chicken parm was large portioned and properly prepared (thicker breast cuts, not pounded ultra-thin). Roasted chicken (on their special Passover menu) was excellent. Chicken parm sandwich was good, and served on a true Italian crusty roll. Dinners for three adults came out to around $60. Good service. Worth coming back to, especially since Alesio closed their business, it appears.
