Regarding the bar, they had a good selection of handles. We got appetizers the two times we were there while in SF. They were good. Service was good. I could see where it could be frustrating but I think they are just laid back (not trying to excuse the reviewer's server who watched the ice melt in the drinks before bringing them to the table). They will spend time with the customer, sometimes just chatting. To that point, we enjoyed talking with Christian at the bar and appreciated his conversation and thoughts on other neighborhood places. We will go back
