On a rainy Saturday, I went to a matinee and decided that I was hungry for a steak. I took the subway up to 80th and Broadway to get some things at Zabar's, and then took the bus back to Times Square, where I thought I'd find somewhere to eat. I had forgotten about Tad's. For about $20, you get a steak prepared the way you want it, a baked potato, salad and a beverage. The restaurant is very 1960s chic, and a great place to relax, eat and read. I took my time, enjoying the atmosphere and then went to see a show that evening.
