Returned to Pazzo's after a few years, with my son. This was my son's favorite pizza restaurant while growing up, into his teens. It's not what it used to be. It's been a few years since our last visit - maybe 5, 6 years? Back then it was the best. Great service, always crowded. We enjoyed watching baseball or football on the TV screes and the pizzas were well done they way we liked them - generous toppings, heaping cheese, thin crust. Baked to perfection. Our recent visit greeted us with indifferent service...like our server had other things to do, even though the tables were lightly filled and no one was waiting. The garlic bread wasn't garlicky, and of smaller portions than we remembered. The pizza had all the quality and character of a frozen pizza. Thin on cheese, even thinner on toppings. It used to be that you could see no "daylight" between the toppings, this time, it was mostly daylight, with a smattering of toppings. The pizza lacked any zest - like I said, kind of reminiscent of a store bought pizza. Too bad. Pazzo's was a long time family favorite for dining in and take out. A great place to hang out with the family. Now...meh.
