Seattle has a large "China Town" section in the southern section that has, of course, dozens and dozens of Asian themed restaurants. I simply traveled up and down a few streets in the district and settled on this business. Glad I did. I actually met one of the waitresses on the elevator and she recommended her particular spot in a building filled with other Chinese themed meals. It was very quiet when I arrived, but soon was filled with many locals and a birthday party for some adults. I chose the house "pancakes" and was interested in it's make up....and good taste. I ordered my main entree of smoked Peking Duck, which is something I have not eaten in years. One should definitely go to a genuine Chinese restaurant to have good duck, as it is difficult to cook unless you are well trained. It came as the entire side of a duck, chopped up into smaller pieces, on a bed of shredded cabbage. It was as good a sampling of duck as I have ever had....even from other China Towns around the country and London. The portions were generous, and every bit delicious. The young lady was a great server, and her English quite proficient. If one finds themselves in the Chinatown of Seattle, I could definitely recommend this one.
