The long awaited visit to Lebrina Restaurant finally came about and on a Saturday evening-thanks to some forward thinking. There were high expectations as one crossed the threshold to this very elegant 19th Century house. We were seated in a small cosy room, our table had very good napery, cutlery and stemware. The menu is a splendid testimony to local produce, apart from the Moreton Bay Bugs which didn't belong, but because they were so good they did ! I can never go past sardines and I was not disappointed, served with delicious eggplant fritters and a rich tomato salsa. My slow-cooked lamb with a baked kohlrabi pudding teased all the senses and was simply outstanding. Hobart is very fortunate to have Lebrina, must get back there sometime. To the proprietors of Lebrina, a big thank you and please do not change a thing
