Food was very good. The best thing I can say about the service is that the server didn't get the orders wrong (and frankly it's a shame if that's all anyone expects from service these days). The server seemed indifferent to us being there; the menus were not given to us right away, and she came by to take our order before she realized that we hadn't gotten menus yet. We also weren't asked if we'd like dessert or coffee afterwards, and when we were ready to pay the bill we had to walk our bill and card up to the register, which was then given back to us at our table for signature. (The restaurant was not full during this time.) On the other hand, the server had all kinds of time to serve the people behind us (whom I guess were regulars to the restaurant whereas this was our first time there). The server registered as "friendly" and also registered as "competent"... she at least took the effort to appear as both. The food is very good though; so if you are not a regular, maybe placing an order to go is the better bet.
