After a hectic and stressful day, two frazzled people went out on a limb to try a different restaurant rather than our usual tried and tested faves. The person who took my reservation was cheerful (great start). The restaurant is located among a building precinct with lots of other places to dine but the parking layout is not the best. If you take the option of trying to park right outside the restaurant and find that all the spots are taken, you have no choice but to do a 5 point turn (as there is not turning bay) to get back out. Or you could just put it into reverse. We ordered pappadums which came with the obligatory raita. Pappadums were microwaved and not pleasant but we got over it. The mains were Beef Vindaloo and Lamb Korma. Both were tasty and Vindaloo was nice and spicy. However if you have a hearty appetite, you might find the portions a little small. We had 2 plain Naan breads and rice to accompany the meal. Naan was nice and fluffy. Being a week night - service was quick and efficient. Total cost of meal was just under $50.00. We were permitted to take our own alcohol (bonus) but there's a $2.00 per person corkage charge. Glad we got out of our comfort zone. Worth a visit.
