Another day another bowl of Pho... What was meant to be a pilgrimage to my favourite Pho joint in the "world" only to find it shut for TET / Lunar New Year break... I ventured into Dong Ba... Been here a few times previously however each time It left me wanting and thinking why didn't I just stick to the sure bet up the road... On an empty stomach I ordered the Pho Dac Biet as the usual go to dish.. However for Dong Ba their signature is Bo Bun Hue so I was definitely feeling Google lucky this time by steering away from the house dish... The pho was pretty Damn good... They have definitely improved their broth since my last visit it tasted more intense and sweeter along with ample condiments I was a happy camper.. Protein was cooked well although again I wish for more funky bits..serving size wont leave you hungry. All in all this is my top 3 pho joint in Sydney! Would I return? definitely!
