Visited on a Saturday for an early dinner/pre-theatre set menu. The place was lively & relatively full for 6pm. We had seen on Tripadvisor that there was a pre-theatre offer, and booked this directly with the restaurant - 2 courses for £19 0r 3 for £23. There is a great choice, albeit a couple of supplements for some dishes (e.g. Prawn Cocktail +£2). We had the prawn cocktail to start with - a large portion of prawns with some lettuce/tomato, a spiced cocktail sauce & served with breadsticks. For mains we had the asian chicken on cous cous & the sole with mash. Both mains were excellent, albeit for a guy I would suggest adding a side of veg to bulk it up. We opted for dessert, and chose the pear tart with vanilla ice cream & boozy butterscotch sauce. It has to be said the food was delicious, portions were no different to those eating off the main menu, & the setting was great. Not a choice for a quiet meal for 2, but a great buzzy atmosphere for a city centre venue. Will be back.
