We are in Orlando for a weekend family vacation. I was looking for a good place for dinner, but wanting to stay away from the usual chain restaurants that are close to our hotel. I came across Pollos Pio Pio and we are so glad we did. It's a Colombian restaurant, but had some Peruvian items on the menu as well. I'm very familiar with both Colombian and Peruvian cuisine. It was rather busy, and it's pretty small and quaint, but we were greeted quickly and sat right away. Our server was really sweet and helpful. My husband ordered the Churrasco (steak) with rice, beans and tostones (green plantains). I ordered the Peruvian Ceviche Mixto (mixed seafood in lime juice) and it was PERFECT! My son ordered the empanada (beef patty) and my daughter had the salchipapas (fries and hot dogs). We had no complaints at all and would really recommend it.
