So I stopped by here because I'd read about this place, then heard about it during a tour once I was on the island. I'm not sure I'm a Shaved ice connoisseur, but I have had shaved ice in Oahu and Kauai multiple times. This is overall my absolute favorite place to go. He truly is just a stand set up outside a grocery store and doesn't have all the frills- no ice cream, none of that weird powder, no beans... Just pure delicious shaved ice (and "snow cap"). I arrived in the late afternoon, some locals were just finishing up theirs. I ordered mine and met Aaron. He is a delightful man. I was beyond lucky to have the pleasure of his company while I sat and ate my shaved ice. We talked about me and my visit and where I should go for my last two days, his life and the shaved ice business. Halfway through my shaved ice he got up and added more snow cap, just because. I would have just been fine sitting there alone eating my shaved ice- it really was the best, but add Aaron's hospitality- and you have a small local place that I will never forget to tell people about!
