This looks like a bit of a "hole in the wall", but good things sure did come in this small package! We started with a glass of the homemade vermouth ... best vermouth we have ever had. We asked if they could sell us a bottle to take home, but it was not allowed. Make sure to try this treat! This was followed by a series of tapas dishes. We followed the recommendations of our waiter, and every dish was better than the one before. The restaurant owners also have their own charcuterie, and the dried sausages, cold cuts, acorn fed Iberian hams and beef carpaccio were all outstanding. We enjoyed the Iberian ham so much we had a second plate (with a dish of spiced olives). They also served outstanding local cheeses. Another of the outstanding dishes was the "Escalivada" with goat cheese (a breaded and grilled piece of goat cheese served on a bed of roasted red peppers, aubergine and onions) ... another dish we had seconds of! Of the many tapas meals we had over 10 days in Spain, this was definitely the best, hands down. They do take reservations, and it is worth booking ahead, as by 8:30 pm they were turning guests away. A bit hard to find, but well worth the hunt!
