My grandchildrens favourite restaurant so on the first night of our holiday this is where we went...............what a treat!! The ambience of this place is superb and the children kept happy and occupied with colouring pads and pens plus their own tasty as well as healthy menu. The owner is experimenting with in house made burger buns and we were asked to taste test the first attempts which were delicious and hopefully she will persevere in her desire for creating a uniform size and shape in order to bake their own buns on a daily basis. Being from the UK we are not accustomed to compiling our own burger but soon got the hang of it with goat cheese, maple bacon and chipotle mayo heading up my favourite toppings from an exhaustive selection, the sweet potato fries were a sublime side, crispy well seasoned and not at all greasy, the garden salad amongst the best we have had, and we are connoisseurs of salad, with a good selection of dressings. The children had shakes while we sampled the superb local steam beer and altogether 4 adults and 2 hungry children ate as much as we could fit in for $120. Fantastic value by anyones standards, we were so impressed we spent the last night of our holiday there too ;0) This is one burger restaurant that works very hard on behalf of its customers and long may it continue, on our last visit the owner had broken her toe that day which left one waitress to serve the whole busy restaurant, she kept everyone fed and watered and the smile never left her face all evening......bravo!!
