Extremely disappointed. We originally went to the bar because we had time to kill before our dinner reservations and we heard about their $1 oyster deal during happy hour and the bar was only 2-3 blocks from our hotel. The decor is terrible, huge gigantic holes in all the furniture, some tables were wobbly, repulsive dull lighting. Surprisingly enough, despite the horrid furniture, the bathrooms were relatively nice. They only had ONE bartender and one runner bringing food out from the kitchen. Mind you, this was St. Patricks Day weekend. The bar wasn’t completely full however there were way more people than could be handled by a singular bartender. The bartender was excellent and I gave her a huge tip for being able to handle it as well as she could. We were only able to order one dozen oysters and the oysters were not good at all but I expected that for being only $1 each. We were way before the end of their happy hour ending but we still got the last order of oysters and were not allowed to order a second dozen due to their shortage (again, St. Patrick’s Day Weekend, bars should know better than to be short) especially at like 4pm (way before closing time). We also order two of their special cocktails, both drinks of which they were out a main ingredient so we both had to select two different drinks.
