We visited Azteca's after hearing such great things about another location in East Orlando. We were highly disappointed and will never be returning. We visited on a Sunday (yesterday) around 8PM. It took a couple of minuets for us to be recognized by the host and then another couple of minuets to be seated, even though there were plenty of staff and tables around. Once seated our server took came over and took our drink order and later our food order. Here is everything that was wrong with the food: Chicken Chimichanga - The chicken was non seasoned pulled chicken. There was absolutely no taste to it at all. There was also no queso or sauce on the top of the Chimi as it is normally served. The "mexican" rice that it was served with seemed to just be yellow coloured white rice as it had no taste. Refried beans were fine, just needed some queso blanco on top. Taco Salad - First of all, my dining companion ordered a taco salad with ground beef and was given the bland pulled chicken instead. The salad itself only had lettuce, cheese, sour cream and guac. Very tasteless. On top of that the lettuce was soaking wet and all the water pooled at the bottom of the salad making the shell and everything else soggy. The kids meals were fine, just tasted like normal frozen fried foods. Nothing spectacular. After seeing our server twice, it took us roughly 10 minuets to get our check after we asked for it. The environment was also very loud with three drunk older gentleman and ladies sitting at the bar shouting profanities and rubbing up all over each other. When you are in a "family" restaurant that should not be allowed. The staff did nothing to stop them and we were sitting 2 feet from them with 2 children. HORRIBLE. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone in this area. There may different Azteca's with different chefs and food, but this location is NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY. We wasted $75 on terrible food and horrible service.
