This restaurant is slightly away from the restaurant hawkers of Kydatheneon street in the Plaka district. Notable for its family run restaurant feel and welcoming attitude to all. I imagine most of the guests are tourists, but there looks to be locals here also. That translates to good food that is just not for the tourist trade. I do suggest you try this restaurant first if you need a good introduction to greek food and let your waiter talk you through your options. The cost is fair for this area, but much better than the horrible places just a few paces away down the street. Much better prices, much better food and a much better taverna dining experience. Don't be alarmed by walking down their stairs to their small dining room. Its very cozy and the food is well worth it. A safe bet and a great introduction. And you may decide to eat at least one meal a day here just because you realy do like the place, a lot.
