My companion and I ordered the cheapest tabehoudai and nomihoudai options and found it to be more than enough choices for our budget. Their English menu made it much easier for us to figure out what kind of meats we wanted to order. The provided sauces were delicious and the meats were a good value for what we paid. Unfortunately, we found ourselves waiting a long time for new orders to be filled, and at times we would press the button to call the waitress two or three times before we actually got a response, and would sometimes go ignored as waiters and waitresses assisted other tables, which ate into our precious 90 minutes to grill and eat our food. For the price, we couldn't really complain much, but we did feel like we weren't getting the most out of our experience for how little attention we were paid. Given the option, we would probably spend a little more money for tabehoudai sukiyaki or shabu shabu next time rather than coming here (we visited the one on Sanjo Kawaramachi). We would be willing to give the service another chance.
