We've had tons of Asian food in the past but not specifically Tiawanese so we thought we'd check this place out. There are only 4 tables so expect to wait. We went after the lunchtime rush but the 4 tables were occupied so we waited for just a short while. It was quite warm in there because the kitchen was basically in the middle of the long building surrounded by an enclosure for semi-privacy. So the heat will compete with the AC. Luckily there were plenty of pictures because if you don't speak Tiawanese, you're in for a ride. We ordered 6 dishes for 3 adults and 1 child. They are down to a bare crew so there are no servers. While you wait, go get your own water from the cooler and your own plastic forks and spoons. After you sit, keep an eye out for your dishes because they are going to yell out your plate in Tiawanese from the front counter, so if you don't speak the language, someone else might steal your entree. I had 6 dishes so I was constantly walking up and down from the counter to my table because they yell out your dish one at a time...as fast as the single cook can cook. Luckily they made eye contact with me so I would know when my next dish was ready. The food was decent. I haven't had Tiawanese so it was good to know what this style of food tastes like since we tried to order the house favorites. Some dishes were not that great (for my taste), but that is all part of the experience, I guess. Usually, 6 dishes will fill us beyond imagination but we were able to finish most of the food even after getting 3 large bowls of rice. What this tells me is that the portions aren't as big as we've had in some other Asian places where you order entrees that come in large sizes. We were ready to take food home, but we barely had much leftovers. Prices were decent, but it's the kind of prices you normally pay when getting served by a waitress. In this case, there is no service, so you're paying for the niche style of food. I don't think we'll be coming back, but we
