Stopped here for lunch on our way back from a visit to the Coliseum. Sat outside on the interesting, but noisy street. VERY disappointed. Over priced, poor service, average to poor food. After a long delay in getting any service at all, I ordered the daily pasta and tomato sauce and a side of bread. My wife ordered a chicken salad on the menu, only to be told a few minutes later that sorry, not available!!?? No further explanation. When my pasta arrived it was very undercooked. Seriously, how can you possibly screw up pasta in Italy??? I sent it back, and ended up with a replacement that was passable. But no cutlery included, I had to go inside and hunt down the waitress as my pasta got cold, to acquire a fork. The bread I ordered did not arrive with the pasta serving, I had to ask again for it. When it arrived, it was dry and crusty, had obviously been sitting out for some time rather than freshly cut. Very disappointing. Meanwhile my wife had to steal oil and vinegar from a nearby table for her salad, as hers was not accompanied by same. The lettuce was warm and uninviting, no tomatoes, nothing else. The meals were seriously overpriced compared to all other meals we enjoyed in our 6 Day Rome stay. With all the great restaurants in Rome, skip this place.
