The Oriental Pearl restaurant located inside the main clubhouse of the Berjaya Bukit Kiara Equestrian club opposite the Pusat Sains is still n excellent choice and definitely our preferred one when it comes to a good Sunday brunch of dim sum and other Cantonese noodle delights. Their dim sum, especially on weekends lunch time, are always very fresh and of excellent quality for a very reasonable price. The restaurant aged a bit and the carpet and deco is definitely not of the latest trend, but who cares as long as the food is really good and very reasonably priced. If you get a private room it faces the club's pool and gardens, which gives it a very nice and green view. Service is efficient and professional. Their shiu mai, ha kao, stir fried turnip cakes, deep fried taro buns, shanghai dumplings and chee cheong fan are particularly delightful, but whatever it is that you order, you won't be disappointed. The dim sum and all the food served there is halal, so it makes it easy to invite all your friends, whatsoever their religion or eating habits. And if you need to walk a bit to digest after your meal, the place offers plenty of nice walks along the paddocks or the polo fields, under the shade of the big plane trees
