Friends told us about this place in Berkeley Street Carlton. An old factory has been transformed and it's filled when we arrive for a late breakfast. The place is filled with university students from around the corner. We shared and tried a few different, a Thai burger for instance! It worked. Others tried more traditional fare like the pork belly. This was apparently roasted and not deep fried. the result was soft and juicy but still crispy. Curries are noticeably different to most we'd tried in Melbourne. they are authentic and spicy - not the bland offerings that abound these days. The owner told us they specialise in Southern Thai but will soon do Northern Issan dishes too. Smart look. Smart food and smart service. Overall a real winner.
