We went to this place as our hosts recommended it. It was awesome! Menu handwritten in Italian. Hard to read but the waiter (owner?) translated it for us. He was unassuming and not pushy. We both had really really good pasta meals (gnocchi and ravioli) and delicious sides. We had a random Italian dessert that we didn't really understand in advance what it was...which was delicious! My husband wanted a grappa and asked for advice and the waiter/owner chose one for him (a very reasonably priced one...not trying to push the price on us at all). A delicious meal, reasonably priced, in a touristy part of town. V unassuming place and it's not trying to attract the tourist trade, but accommodates it in an unassuming and gentle way. I totally recommend this place. Go expecting to not understand the menu (if you don't speak Italian) but run with it and I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised and enjoy delicious food!
