My wife and I ate here during a recent trip to San Francisco, and it was so good we changed plans the next morning so we could go back. We cannot comment on anything other than the pastries, but that alone is worth the visit. At first I was hoping they would be served warm, but they were served room temperature right from the display case. We order several types with different fillings and they were all very very good. The filling had just the right amount of sweetness and the pastry was light, , flaky, buttery and delicious. My wife enjoyed the blueberry filling the best and I thought the apple fillings were best as they had a little tartness to them. Advice: if they have anything that is still warm, get it! We had a crumble on our second visit that I think was apple, strawberry and blueberry that was just out of the oven and it was easily our favorite. I've seen reviews saying they're pricey, which they are, but it's nothing outrageous. We spent $18 on three items (about $6-7 for a pastry), so I wouldn't eat here daily, and is much better quality food than what you'll find elsewhere. And if you sit outside, the views of the bay from the backside of the ferry building are quite nice.
