Read the rave reviews of this restaurant and decided to take a look the restaurant. . We were attended to by a short lady in her 50s-60s who sold the restaurant aggressively to us, promising good and delicious food. We had a 8-10 course Chinese New Year dinner. The dishes were below average. The fish was a huge disappointment the flesh was extremely hard. When I feedbacked to the same short lady who attended and collected the deposit prior to CNY, she shrugged it off and said nonchalantly - hard but still can eat right? One of my cousins commented that the noodles were overcooked and it was as though the restaurant outsourced to a lousy zi char stall to prepare. There was zero finesse at all to any of the dishes. Nevermind about the noodles but being named a seafood restaurant, you would at least expect a reasonable standard for their fish. What a shame. When we were about to leave the restaurant, our cars were blocked by other cars parked back to back in their small car park compound with limited lots. . We had to ask the service staff several times, going up and down the stairs requesting for them to ask the patrons to move their cars so that we can vacate. It definitely made good sense for them and it is in the restaurants interest so that other customers can take our lots. Somehow the management staff , short lady were not in sight at all, and left the poor china waiters to attend to this issue. There are zi char stalls who can do better than them. First and last visit. Never again.
