Ocean Kingdom Seafood Restaurant has been a favorite restaurant of mine for some time. While others might swear by the famous crab stalls at Ang Mo Kio or Toa Payoh (where a few crabs might cost $100-200), Ocean Kingdom has been my top choice when I'm craving for crabs or need a good hearty meal with friends/family. On the recent dine out - we ordered some of their signature dishes: crispy brinjals with pork floss (even my dear friend who hates brinjals is wow by this dish), Coffee ribs (fav of a few of my friends), Chilli crab (wonderful gravy), Black pepper crab (sweet and spicy), Steamed scallops with garlic (one is never enough for garlic lovers), Seafood hor fun or rice noodle (if u think that hor fun is such a common dish, pls try their hor fun), spinach bayam in superior stock, and lobster in white sauce with fried buns (we keep dunking the buns into the sauce). We even had 2 bottles of wine (first btl is free corkage, 2nd btl at $10). And all these cost us abt SGD $300 (9 persons). What more can u ask for? Freshest seafood (the Cheo family deals with live seafood supplies) cooked in the tastiest way, good service, and most reasonable price.
