This is becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Hong Kong. It's a bit out of the way, on a tiny side street in Happy Valley, but well worth looking for. In fact, I once walked back into Causeway Bay from here, and realized that it isn't really all that far, especially if you ate too much and need to walk it off. It's not one of those crazy menus that has a million dishes, but everything they make is done with care. Just about every dish that we ever ate here has been wonderful. The chef and kitchen staff are all Thai, so the food is authentic, while the owner and the hostess are Nepalese, so their English is excellent and service is warm and friendly. From the other reviews about this place, I see that those who don't know Hong Kong complain about the cramped space and find this place expensive. But for us locals, the price is really good for the quality of the food, and cramped is normal. And authentic quality fresh Thai food is NOT normal in Hong Kong; it's rare, so I really appreciate it. Dishes we've tried and loved: green papaya salad, grilled chicken, chicken coconut milk soup, fried fish, duck in red curry sauce, fried rice with shrimp paste, and grilled chicken. Did I mention the grilled chicken?! Yum!
