Our family of four (two daughters, ages 9 and 14) recently visited Washington DC. Upon our first morning in the city, looking for a place to eat breakfast before hitting the sightseeing trail, my husband found the Cornerstone Cafe listed as "nearby" on one of our phone apps. We decided to give it a try. We liked it so much that we returned the next morning!! It has everything imaginable for breakfast - muffins and pastries, eggs, pancakes, potatoes (hash browns, tater tots) and all the normal breakfast meats (bacon, ham, sausage, - pork and turkey options available). Fresh fruit was also available. Plates are weighed and you pay by the ounce.
