Sited opposite the Chiang Wat Man temple, this small restaurant (cafe) offers some good, basic but cheap food, together with a good collection of beer and soft drinks. The menu isn't enormous, but neither is it pretentious. Simply, if you want a meal sat between 60 and 80Bt then this is the place to go. There's a small selection of Thai dishes, non particularly spicy, some basic "british" dishes (chips, ham, eggs), toasties, filled rolls etc. It's cheap, it's cheerful, and a pleasant atmosphere. They also offer breakfasts (including juice and coffee/tea for around 100Bt). Perfect, if like me, you have to pass an hour in the shade whilst the missus is off getting a pedicure whilst waiting for a fitting at the CM Tailors. It advertises itself as a guest house as well, although this was untried by myself.
