High Tea at Parliament House Melbourne (open on days Parliament is not sitting) was a very different experience. Beginning with the myriad steps up to enter through the security screening with the prize of a "V" sticker from reception. An interesting walk through Queens Hall's portraits of past Premiers and a view of the Library to enter the dining room. Service was impeccable and high tea itself more than adequate. The absence of finger sandwiches replaced by small rolls was different.
