I'm an aviation photographer and spend quite a bit of time on the Schiphol terrace. This is the second time my partner and I have visited Dakota's and I didn't think the service could get any worse. After a poor first experience we decided to give it another try - a big mistake. Although the restaurant was comparatively quiet, I had to go to the bar to find a waitress to take our order after being ignored for 10 minutes. There was no smile, no interaction - we might as well have been talking to an ATM. When the food arrived it was ok - nothing more. The Chicken Satay was smothered in a very sweet sauce and the accompanying fries were lukewarm. When it came to pay the bill my partner commented on the poor service and (a different waitress) just smiled and shrugged her shoulders. We won't be back.
