Came here as a group of six on Monday evening and had a lovely time. We had been to this restaurant several times over the years and were pleased it had lost none of its charm. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and happy to see you. We were greeted by a warm and friendly man who showed us to a table by the window, perfect for watching the world go by. We were given a specials menu as well as the regular menu. Our order was taken promptly and our drinks came shortly after along with bread and olives. We ordered a mixture of starters including garlic pizza bread, baked Brie cheese and deep fried calamari, all very tasty. The portions here are huge, you certainly get what you pay for! We had a three year old with us and they were more than happy to serve his main meal of spaghetti bolognese whilst we had our starters. The waiters were always on hand whenever we required more drinks and we never waited a long time for our table to be cleared and the other courses to arrive. Our main meals were again very large portions and included lasagne, veal escalope, calves liver, and seafood pasta. All the meals tasted fresh and delicious and were seasoned very well. A few of us decided to order desserts and coffee afterwards. The chocolate melt in the middle pudding was to die for! It wasn't too rich and came with ice cream and a fruit garnish. We all enjoyed our evening here, the food and service was fantastic and we would definately be visiting again. Studio Pasta is definately to be recommended!
