I had been to this newish restaurant twice - once for a drink and once for brunch - and decided to return for a light dinner the other night. The 5 to 7:30 pm happy hour is still going on with a selection of wines at $5 a glass. I had a sparkling from Burgundy which was very good and accompanied a duck rillettes small plate. The rilletes came in a small pot with toast points and cornichons. Rich and tasty. I had a nice off and on conversation with the/an owner who was also working the bar. Some movie crews have been in to shoot scenes. It seems the camera likes the restaurant's decor and ambiance. It's a cool spot committed to a certain authenticity and quality.
