A little piece of Italy, in the heart of Paris. Set in the east side of Paris, at a walking distance from the world famous Pere Lachaise Cemetery , you'll find Il Capriccio, look no further, this is where you should be stopping. You'll find yourself looking at the very diverse menu thinking you want to order pretty much everything. Here is what I can tell you : The pastas are fresh and very well prepared. I love their 5 cheeses raviolis and lasagnas. The pizzas are top notch, with very fresh, and quality ingredients. The mozzarella di buffala and the burrata are seriously mind blowing, go for that as an appetiser. The milanese scallop is great. I've never tried their desserts, as I'm not someone who likes desserts (I know I'm weird) but everybody that was with me really enjoyed them. We went there on various evenings during the week and the atmosphere was always great, the staff is lovely and very helpful. They are friendly and enjoy what they do, which is always a key point for me in a restaurant. Little bonus : If you are around during the summer they'll have the terrace open. A big thank you to the staff. See you soon, Ciao!
