We accidentally ended up at this fine Winery and quickly became mesmerized by the owner's, Pat, knowledge of wine, military history, California & world history--and not to mention his quick wit! We have never met such a chipper purveyor of fine wines. Pat's wines do not contain potassium sulfite and the taste of the wines can rival those of South America, Europe, Australia, & South Africa. We were very pleased with the wines, purchased some bottles, will return with friends and spread the word. Lastly, for those planning a visit, call ahead of time and ask Pat or Pamela when they are having the DJ, band, or BBQ on site to make your visit even more memorable. Great place! (It used to be a naval brig for men/women prisoners--notice the fence around the building and the architecture and floor mat inside).
