Located in the cute little suburb of Higashi Matsubara on the Inokishira line and down a street lined with old world reproduction gas-style street lanterns. We had been here before a year ago and couldn’t wait to return for the best succulent garlic naan bread ever. We kicked it off by ordering some yummy samosas while the main course was coming. The young fellow went for his favourite, the saag, a spinach curry and the rest of us ordered one of the lunch sets consisting of two different curries. The garlic bread is luxurious and large but tastes so good I battled through it to soak up every last bit of curry sauce. Japanese beer proved to be a good accompaniment. For around 1000Y, a sumptuous lunch in pleasant surroundings with cheerful service. Plenty of Indian pictures around the cafe including Ben Kingsley (Sorry, Mahatma Ghandi)
