This is quite out of the way but worth coming to if you want to be the only non-Thai person in a small crowded local restaurant in a quiet and old residential suburb of Bangkok with great value... it is worth it for the excellent food, a big menu that includes many yams and great classics. Recommended menu : Yam Makhua Yao (incredible smoked aubergine 'salad'), Yam Plaa Krob (crunchy fish 'salad'), Wam Plaa Duk Foo (crispy catfish 'salad'), Tom Yam Kung (a stunning version), Kaeng Som (equally good), Plaa Tood Mamuang (Fried fish with green mango) and Khai Jeow Puu (Crab omlette).
