Shabushi,the chain-buffet place, is available in many places around Bangkok. Please note that it does not provide authentic 'shabu' if you were thinking of Japanese one. It is more like hot pot buffet with selections of meats and vegetable. If any menus missing from the belt, you can ask the staff directly for it. We all did that all the time. :P There are also a small line of low-quality sushi and good-to-try fried food (i.e. shrimp tempura) station. Nothing special about the soup, it gives aroma, but not taste. So, you have to rely on the sauce, which is kind of good. Don't expect much about atmosphere and services. The staffs are not so welcoming, but you will get what you ask for. Don't afraid to ask repeatedly if you do not get the food you want. Just bare with their sullen face. You will be alright!! Well, it is a good place to try at least once after all.
