I went here on Dec. 8 based on some yelp reviews. Mistake! I just wanted some basic, good diner food. I ordered, home fries, eggs over medium, toast and turkey sausage. My potatoes arrived cold. Not luke warm, but cold! They appeared to be the pre-seasoned pre-cut chunks that are thrown into the deep fryer. I don't know if they are made ahead of time and kept under some sort of warmer, or if they weren't cooked long enough, either way they were cold. Sadly, the eggs were cooked in some sort of oil that some places use instead of butter, but that I could have overlooked if I hadn't had to send back the potatoes. However, she took away my entire plate. I said that I would now prefer the hash browns instead of the home fries since it was clear they were having an issue with the home fries. She said "no problem", but took away the rest of my food, except the toast. I usually only eat about 1/2 piece of toast so I wanted to wait for my food to return. I thought, 'surely she is not going to bring back the same eggs (I had taken one bite to be sure they were hot)" You guessed! More than 10 minutes later my food returned, nice hot hash browns , cold eggs (with the bite out of it, because how do you keep over medium eggs warm without cooking them to well done?) and now cold sausage. She did, however bring me new toast. That was I got up and said that I was leaving and I could not believe that they let my eggs and sausage sit on a plate while they cooked new potatoes? She did not argue, but also offered no explanation or to get a manager. My boyfriend is an executive chef and was quite appalled by my description. Suffice it to say that I would NEVER go to Junior's again.
