Had been hunting for a reasonable Sri Lankan restaurant in Melbourne; unfortunately stumbled on this disaster - most of the food served straight from the deep fryer or microwave! I'd read the reviews here prior to visiting; many can't understand why the restaurant is so empty (there were a total of four diners the evening we went). The service is lacklustre, the screeching wooden chairs on a bare concrete floor each time someone moves or gets up from the table and 'muzak' are starters! The lentil croquettes and fish pan rolls were both hot on the outside and still frozen on the inside. Wait stuff ill equipt to deal with this feedback. The roti bread was warmed but stale prior to being heated. Goat curry unavailable. Chicken curry the best meal ordered and pepper pork curry a dried combination of over deep fried meat with little else. Beer was best option on a limited drink menu. Bathrooms out the back unclean and unhygienic. It's now really easy to see why this restaurant is empty. I'll go back to Colombo next time I have a yearning for Sri Lankan food.
