We were with Alla tours and this was part of the itinerary, an authentic Russian lunch. The food was okay, borsch, a creamed chicken dish and rice pilaf. We didn't have a choice, we got what we got. The most interesting thing about this restaurant was the cigar room underneath the main floor. There were "floor" windows that allowed you to see down or up depending on what floor you were on. Looking down you couldn't see much, but I imagine if you were down below having your cigars and vodka, you got your yuks by looking at people (women in skirts?) walking above you unaware. Different.
