This Smiths Fish and Chip shop had the most perfect fish and chips we've ever had, from the basic Old School English - fish and chips with home-made sauce and lemon, to more gourmet selections with other sea food, fresh salad and chicken which was a nice mix with the Fish & Chips. The place is also license and an assortment of beers that went down easily with the Fish & Chips. The chips are fantastic - a bit crispy with a lemony flavoured salt. And the fish (we had a few) had a light nicely-cooked batter and not oily at all. This was our first time (and it won’t be the last time either) and we highly recommend it. It's located just on Bukit Timah Road next to an old style pub which is a good place to start before heading to Smith’s Fish & Chips. The décor is very simple but pleasant and inviting. Let’s face it, we did not go for the décor nor to socialise… we just wanted good Fish & Chips and we got it !! Great warm place to go to with your mates and the cold beers really completes the picture… !! Will definitely be back !!
