We had our hotel help us find this restaurant -- we had the phone but not the address. Find it they did, and it was fantastic. While they don't have an English menu, they do speak English well enough to help you with what you are having, or what you would like. We had the "set" menu, and it was superb. Fresh, delicate, beautifully presented, all one could possibly wish for in a Japanese dinner. We had salad, sashimi, flash-fried eggplant, tempura (so delicately done), a few other dishes - each so carefully prepared. The pace was unhurried, the place itself is small, elegant (but simple) and intimate. The counter (where we ate) had a deep area under the table so we didn;t have to try to sit cross legged, but still had the experience of a low table. It overlooked a small garden outside. What a marvelous place --- well worth finding (we found it on a knowledgeable friend's recommendation). Do make a reservation, though we did so on only a day's notice, and had no trouble.
