I had just arrived in Machida on the start of a business trip and needed something fairly quick and easy for dinner; I also had a hankering for some Indian food. I found the Local India on the top floor of the Tokyo shopping center, opposite the train station. Overall, I had a pretty good dining experience, and my rating should really be closer to 3.5, but not any more than that. The menu selection is rather limited, and the curries are bland, but thankfully predictable. The best part of the meal for me was the naan bread, which was large, light and crisipy - just as it should be. So I would say that this is a pretty good place to eat Indian food, especially as the place is conveniently located, but don't expect fine cuisine.
