Positives (because I'm not one to be negative): On site to the hotel therefore convenient, the restaurant presented ok as a whole and seemed clean. I was greeted (although not nicely) when I first entered and did not have to wait for a table. Negatives: It was freezing inside; I was shivering. I soon discovered Americans love their air-conditioning a bit too much, so would probably be fine for any locals. The waitress was probably the worst I had out of all my travels in the US; she was rude and inattentive. She acted like she hated her job. I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese for lunch and there was a significant wait for it to come out despite there only being two other people in the entire restaurant. The food was very basic and the bread on the side was burnt. Definitely not the worst thing I have eaten but not worth the price in my opinion, it kind of tasted bought rather than freshly cooked. That being said the size was fairly generous. I didn't get offered salt or pepper or parmesan, which for a Bolognese in and in America (the land of cheese) I found very odd, but again, that was probably due to the waitress not wanting to be at work. I tried to leave a tip on my card but she rudely told me that I filled out the form wrong (I'm Australian and we don't tip so was unfamiliar with the process) and that she did not process my tip, before walking off before I could even reply. I ended up leaving a cash tip and regretting it immediately. If I stay at this hotel again I will not be coming back here for lunch. To be fair had I had a different waitress then maybe my experience might have been completely different. The food did need improving though it was quite bland. Put some fresh herbs through the sauce and it would taste a whole heap better for hardly any effort! The hotel and buffet breakfast served in the same area as this restaurant were both fantastic, but this restaurant was definitely not!
