We ate our way through Rome and this was by far the best meal we had. They make their own pasta and are rightfully proud of their carbonara. When I asked the waiter for his preference between the saltimbucca and the veal with truffles, he didn't up sell me on the more expensive option but pointed me confidently to the best saltimbucca I have ever tasted. The vibe was bright and cheerful. It is clearly family run. They are small (10 tables) so call ahead or come early or late (kitchen closes at 11:00). Save room for dessert! Sinfully good zabaione and tiramisu. The waiter gave us a knowing smile when we came back for dinner the very next day. . .
