Spent an evening at Mary Jan with a group of friends. Food was excellent. I would wish, though, for some appetizers that can be shared (like cheese sticks or something of that kind) to be on the menu. Service is organized in a rather unusual fashion: instead of a dedicated waiter who takes care of the table they rotate the duty among 3-4 waiters, so you never know if your order is in the works, or not. It took over an hour to cook shashlyk (meat on skewer). Waiter's response to inquiry was that they have only one grill, but many orders. The place is hard to find in a maze of old red brick fabric factory building, now converted to offices. Look for yellow signs, and graffiti-style markings. Gatekeepers do not allow taxis inside, so bring an umbrella to walk from a cab if it is raining.
