Although I liked the location of this hotel and the view if offers of the Eiffel Tower, the entire stay was fairly average and our requests seemed taxing on the staff more than anything, rather than their pleasure to help. We were disappointed at learning upon check in that there was no executive lounge for Hyatt platinum card holders. Especially as this wasn't listed on the website. But, whatever, you don't need a lounge to survive... Brushing ourselves off, we bought the party to our room and sourced some bubbly ready to snack away whilst getting ready for our night out. One look at the room service menu equals zero snacks. So we rung concierge to ask if we could purchase some bar snacks which they serve to guests downstairs. "No madame, you have a mini bar." A mini bar with 12 euro peanuts in. That's it. Is there really no alternative to peanuts... in the whole hotel? Such a poor response. Key cards also regularly didn't work. We had no tea or coffee making facilities upon arrival. There was no milk with my cereal at breakfast time in the room. An ice bucket took 40-minutes to arrive. It just didn't give off the luxury and enjoyment factor that a 5-star hotel should and was certainly not up to the Hyatt that I know and love. I would not stay here again.
