One's expectation of a cozy restaurant in a boutique style old world charm hotel in Boston cannot be the same as one's expectation of a stand-alone restaurant that is designed and staffed for feeding a multitude of patrons on a daily basis. We were out and about in Boston and it had gotten very late. It was chilly and the wind was picking up. We were also on foot and heading towards our hotel, The Copley Square Hotel. Noticing that there were virtually no options for dining on our path, we decided to take refuge at Xhale, the restaurant located at the Copley. When we entered, we were greeted by a quiet, well composed attentive young lady who seated us and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We ordered hot tea and it was brought to our table promptly. The water was steaming hot. We requested that the tea pot be refilled several times and without any objection or attitude whatsoever, the tea pot was refilled to our satisfaction. We ordered some food and it was ready and arrived at the table when we had finished a cup of tea. We did not expect such a nice hot dinner at that late hour. It comes as a surprise that none of the other reviewers have mentioned the free morning coffee that is served at this venue. My son also loved the hot chocolate that was served here after 12:00 pm along with a few varieties of candy and sweets that was also available for the taking by hotel guests.
