If you are looking for a place where you can take a drink en terrace, then this place would fit the bill. Just below pont de bercy, direction Josephine baker swimming pool, there are a bunch of bars/restos/peniches all set up for outdoor dining/drinking. La paillote was cool because it was casual, had lots of space, communal tables, lounge chairs and even carriage/rickshaw type seating which was fun. You order at the bar - bottle of rose for 20€ was reasonable. They had tapas type snacking plates and crepes (which looked quite good, but we didn't try). Then it's cool to sit back and relax and take in the breeze by the seine. I recommend this place for apero in the late afternoon/early evening. It's nice to take a walk along this area on Sunday's as there is always something going on.
